The Cowboy 5K Swamp Stomp ain't your city race! Obstacles as big as 'yer barn and City Slicker Exits for those obstacles you don't want to wrangle. The Cowboy 5K is a challenging, yet family friendly obstacle challenge race held during the Washington County Fair.
Participants will test themselves as they balance, climb, swing, and crawl through cowboy themed obstacles such as Hangman Hill, Yellow Belly Gutch, Desperado, and more. Due to the layout of the course on the Washington County Fairgrounds, participants will run thru the course twice-- twice the number of obstacles!
The Cowboy 5K Swamp Stomp is located on the Washington County Fairgrounds in Arlington, NE. Parking opens at 7 am and is free.
Packet pick up will begin at 7:30 am and will be located on the west side of the fairgrounds. Look for the white Cowboy 5K banners. Participants are asked to check in 15 minutes before their wave begins.
The first waves of this race begin at 8 am. This race is capped at 1500 participants. There is no cost to enter. Registration is open thru race day; limited quantity of event t-shirts will be available for purchase at registration.
