Join the ultimate strength showdown where teams of pure human muscle face off in a classic Tug of War—but with a twist: each side weighs in at exactly 1 ton (2,000 lbs)!

This is not just about brute force—it’s about balance, teamwork, and strategy. No cleats. No harnesses. Just gloves, grit, and glory.

Rules & Format:

Team Weight Limit: Each team must weigh no more than 2,000 lbs total. Team weigh-ins are conducted before the match on a tractor scale, all step on together. If a team is under the weight cap, that’s allowed—but no team may exceed it.

Age Limit: Participants must be 14 years or older.

Equipment Rules:

Gloves allowed

No cleats, spikes, or anchoring gear (this includes belts, harnesses, hooks, etc). No wrapping the rope around hands or body

Flat-soled shoes only (inspectable by judges)

Gameplay:

Best of 3 pulls, 8 teams, single elimination

In between Demolition Derby heats Wednesday August 5th, 6:30pm weigh in.
